dysonrules, why are all but a few of this year's Smooches so long? Were you offering free shots for every 1,000 words? I must have missed out! (Though I may or may not be guilty of writing a long one while under the influence myself...)

In my infinite wisdom, I decided to give everyone more time this year because last year we had SO MANY FREAKING EXTENSIONS that we actually ran out of things to post midway through the fest. D:

Apparently everyone took that extra time to not only finish their fics, but to tack on an additional 7,000 words...

I think next year we'll shorten the writing time a tad... :)
