Hmm, I didn't mean to imply that Draco came from the pain of the curse. Barty just got him so close before he did it that there was no stopping it, and in Barty's twisted mind it's like, "Yeah, you like that, don't you?"
Barty does get off on Draco's suffering. He's a character who truly enjoys inflicting pain on others, so it seems likely he would get a thrill out of it sexually, as well.
I became obsessed with this pairing last year. In the books, Draco has always been intrigued by all things dark, but when it came down to it, evil wasn't as 'cool' as he thought it was before he got a real taste of it. I thought that this fascination could also potentially manifest itself as a crush ona charater like Barty: good-looking, evil, and ultimately wrong for Draco.
It's a perfect example of his naivety in matters of evil, I think.
